Forgive Yourself and Others 29 Oct 2010

Forgive yourself for all you ever thought was “wrong” about you. We as humans are our own worst critics. You put up with and in fact, encourage ways of speaking to yourself that most would NEVER put up with if someone else spoke to you that way. Always the first to tear down your dreams, poke a hole in your bubble of happiness, ridicule yourself for just being yourself. Give yourself a break, look at yourself with the eyes of love. Never believe for an instant you are not worthy of all your heart desires. Wrap yourself in love the same way you do your children, family members, friends and pets. Give yourself a pat on the back for all you do every day. Learn to become your own biggest fan.

There are no differences too great to be overcome by Love. Love creates oneness where there is separation; healing where there is pain, light where there is darkness. Sharing your love without reserve, unconditionally, expecting nothing in return, the love you give away will find its way back to you in ways unimagined. Love for no reason other than to love fills your soul. You can if you choose to love without attachment, to send love to someone without approving of them or their actions. You can choose to love, seeing the best in someone they may be blind to themselves. You can choose to love yourself most of all. You are a loved, loveable and loving being. I choose to send you unconditional love right now. Do you choose to send yourself the same?

Paternoster:
“Oh Thou, from whom the breath of life comes, who fills all realms of sound, light and vibration.  May Your light be experienced in my utmost holiest. Your Heavenly Domain approaches. Let Your will come true – in the universe (all that vibrates) just as on earth (that is material and dense). Give us wisdom (understanding, assistance) for our daily need, detach the fetters of faults that bind us, (karma)like we let go the guilt of others.  Let us not be lost in superficial things (materialism, common temptations), but let us be freed from that what keeps us from our true purpose. From You comes the all-working will, the lively strength to act, the song that beautifies all and renews itself from age to age.
Sealed in trust, faith and truth.

“Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.”
~Buddha~
“When you hold resentment toward another, you are bound to that person or condition by an emotional link that is stronger than steel. Forgiveness is the only way to dissolve that link and get free.”
~Catherine Ponder~
